Dorothy Walker is a knowledgeable and highly experienced clinical research professional.  Throughout her twenty-year career, she has built a solid reputation for high standards and professional excellence in the planning and management of complex, multi-center phase II, III and IV clinical trials. 

Dorothy's experience includes ten years with Burroughs Wellcome and Glaxo Wellcome as a Clinical Research Scientist. In this role she provided scientific knowledge and protocol expertise in the management of new molecules in cardiovascular and pulmonary therapeutic areas. She implemented studies of complex protocols in intensive care units across Canada. Dorothy also has expertise in the central nervous system and antiviral therapeutic areas, as well as biomedical devices. 

Building on her pharmaceutical industry experience, Dorothy has developed a highly successful independent consultancy business. Since founding The Lister Group Clinical Research Services Inc. in 1998, Dorothy has provided professional services to pharmaceutical and medical device clients, including:

• Audits: Detailed investigational site and in-company documentation audits to assist in the identification of organizational, procedural and staff development needs.

• Pre-Study Site Evaluation: Review of study site facilities, resources, staff qualifications and experience.

• Documentation: Case Report Form and Informed Consent design.

• Monitoring: Site monitoring of complex infant and adult studies.

• Training: Professional development programs, including ICH and FDA Good Clinical Practice training.
